Is you child due to start school in Reception or Nursery in September 2024? if so, we would love to meet you and show you around our wonderful school.
We are not holding an official Open Day as we like the personal approach and prefer to show you around individually. We like to get to know you and you to know us and have time to answer any questions you may have.
We will be able to give you lots of information about our school and guide you through the application process.
Please either call us on 01522 520591 or email us at enquiries@bracebridge.lincs.sch.uk and we will happily arrange a mutually convenient time for you to visit.
We are a small school with the children at the heart of everything we do.
Our school motto ‘Be the best you can be!’ underpins our teaching and learning, with the school, every child and their families at the forefront of our community.
We really are a hidden gem and we look forward to welcoming all our
new children and families to Bracebridge.
What our parents say about our school:
‘My little girl has settled in beautifully to the school, she can be shy but I feel the school and its team have been so good and reassuring her and making her feel at ease! The teachers and school staff are so friendly and I for one have felt very comfortable having my daughter attend, knowing she is being, taught, looked after and cared for so well! Thank you for all the hard work you do! You are all wonderful, and my daughter thinks you are all brilliant.’
I am happy with the school. The school has warm and friendly environment’.
‘Nothing is ever too much trouble.. I’ve always found the school to be very approachable. Any concerns I have had, have been dealt with or explained why something is done. Each child is a person and I really feel as though the school treats the children as a person and not a number.’

Making maths meaningful
We are delighted to be supporting the NSPCC by taking part in Number Day which is a great way to make maths fun and bring about a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude towards it.

We are having a fun day of maths activities and we will be taking part in
‘Dress up for Digits’ on Friday 2nd February 2024
Children are asked to wear an item of clothing with a number on it
(football shirt, cap, netball shirt or even a onesie!) or get creative by dressing in a maths or numbers theme. You can even wear something with spots or stars on and everyone can count them.
To help raise money for the NSPCC, we are asking for donations, and we’d love everyone in the school to take part in this special event
Please hand any donations to Mrs Wilson on the school gate
The NSPCC need our support more than ever. By raising money, we can help to fund their
vital services such as Childline – the helpline that’s always there for children and young
people whatever their problem or concern.
On average, a child contacts Childline every 45 seconds
Everything the NSPCC does protects children today and prevents
children tomorrow.
If you’re a bit stuck on what to wear, here are some ideas:
