Visit to Lincoln Castle
Tuesday 28th February 2023
This term our learning topic is ‘A Castle Near Me’ and we are very excited that we will be visiting Lincoln Castle for the day. As well as exploring the castle, we will be taking part in some great, fun filled workshops.
School uniform should be worn as usual. Please do make sure that your child brings a warm, waterproof coat, hat and gloves and wears suitable foot wear.
Packed lunches can be provided by our school lunch provider Kidz Kitchen and should be ordered on the slip at the bottom of this letter please. Children are welcome to bring their own packed lunch if preferred (please no sweets, chocolates or fizzy drinks).
The cost of the trip, including entry to the castle, workshops and travel, will be subsidised by school, however we are asking for a voluntary contribution from parents towards this of £13.00 per child. All contributions are voluntary, however if we do not receive sufficient funds to cover the visit, we will unfortunately have to cancel the trip. If this cost causes any concerns at all for your family then please do not hesitate to pop in and talk to Mrs Wilson.
