Harvest Assembly for the Children
This year our Harvest Assembly for the children will be here in school on Friday 13th October 2017. All your kind donations go to the Lincoln Community Larder who provide food packages for people and families in crisis or who are homeless.
In order to get the very best from your most kind and generous donations, this year our list of suggested items includes:
Most Useful Donations:
Tinned fruit
Tinned rice pudding
Tinned meats, eg minced beef, stews, curries, meatballs
Hot Dogs
Tuna
UHT Milk, semi skimmed
Sweetcorn
Carrots
Peas
Breakfast cereals, (especially Weetabix or own brand equivalent)
Pasta sauces
Small jars of coffee
Sweet biscuits
PLEASE NO OUT OF DATE FOOD – WE CANNOT USE IT
Sadly, every year we get dozens of items of out of date food given to us, some of it several years past its sell by date, which obviously we are unable to use so please do check dates.
