A visit from the Mayor

Today we had a visit from the Mayor. He spoke to us about his formal dress and why he wears it. Some children were able to ask him questions. We found out that he didn't like school when he was younger but that he knew he had to work hard and try his best! We have good work assembly on a Friday and Mr Mayor was happy to stay a little longer and handed out certificates to each classes star of the week.
