How and When to Apply for Reception Class

• Arrange a visit to come and see our wonderful school. We will show you around, answer any questions you may have and guide your through the application and starting school process.
• The preferred method for applying is online from November at https://www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/school-admissions/apply-school/2
• You can also apply by telephoning Admissions Customer Service Centre on 01522 782030.

• Offers of places will be made in April.

 

How to Apply for Nursery

• Arrange a visit to come and see our wonderful Nursery setting. We will show you around and give you a pack containing an Application Form for you to complete and return.
• Alternatively, you can print and complete the Application Form below and return either direct to school or email to enquiries@bracebridge.lincs.sch.uk 
• Telephone school and we will be happy to discuss and complete an application with you.
•  We have admissions into Nursery in September, January and April each year.

 

Moving to our School

• We welcome mid year applications for your child to join our school.  Any offer of place will be dependent upon the availability of a place within the requested year group. 
• Applications can be made through Lincolnshire County Council at https://www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/school-admissions/apply-move-school  
• We are happy to discuss a move or place at any time and will do our best to answer your questions.  Please do not hesitate to contact us for a chat.

 

Moving onto Year 3

• Whichever school you choose for your child in Year 3, we will ensure that the transition process is as smooth and as stress free for both your child and you.  Teachers from our feeder schools will visit your child in our classrooms, talk to your child’s teacher and will invite your child to spend time at their new school to meet their new teachers and new friends. Parents information meetings will be held by the new schools for you to attend.
• This takes place in the September following a child’s seventh birthday. Children may transfer to any Junior/Primary school of their choice providing places exist and parents must apply for a place online.  Local children normally take priority. Applications open in November with a closing date of the following January. National offer day is in April.
• In the first instance, you may only apply for a junior school (eg Manor Leas Junior Academy).   If you wish to apply for a primary school (eg The Meadows Primary School, Sir Francis Hill Primary School) then this can be done in April. 
• Information about applying online for a place at the Junior School of your choice will be given out in November of your child’s Year Two year. Parents are advised to visit the school before making a choice
