This year instead of having individual class summer trips, we have decided to have a whole school ‘Fun Day at the Park’.  All the children really enjoyed our Parade in the Park event which we held in 2015 so we will extend this to a whole day and for all the children to go to the park together including Nursery. We are also pleased to be able to hold the day without any cost to parents. We will be walking to Boultham Park and have arranged to have full access to the park so we can transport lunches and equipment for the day.

During the course of the day all children will also take part in our Sponsored Event. This will involve completing laps of a walking course around the park; the length and amount of laps (maximum of 3) will depend upon the age of the children.  Please find attached a Sponsor Form – we do hope you and your family and friends will help us to raise money towards resources for the children in school and also towards the cost of our future school trips, including hopefully the Pantomime at Christmas.

Kidz Kitchen, who provide our school lunches, have very kindly agreed to provide a picnic lunch for all Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children.  Please can parents of Nursery children drop off and collect from school at the normal times.  Morning N

ursery will return to school ready for the usual collection time of 11.45am and Afternoon Nursery will walk to the park from school for the afternoon.

Throughout the day, we have lots of fun activities planned and Coach Simon who does PE with Year 1 and Year 2 will also be joining us and will be doing some sports with the children.

If our wonderfully typical British weather is unsuitable for the day then we will rearrange the date.
